If you have not checked in 30 minutes before flight time your seat could be given to a standby passenger. Flights are frequently sold out, and quite often there are at least several standby passengers who would be happy to take your seat if you’re late. - (Note: The terminal opens at 4:30 am)
You are allowed 1 carry-on bag, which can measure up to 10" H x 17" W x 24" L, plus one personal item, such as a purse, briefcase or laptop computer. Airlines are becoming stricter in enforcing regulations limiting the size of carry-on luggage, and there is a maximum weight of 50 lbs. per checked bag. If the weather is marginal the flight may not be canceled until scheduled departure or later. It is necessary to present yourself at the ticket counter to preserve your ticket rights. Alaska Airline's toll free information number (1-800-252-7522) will report flight cancellations and has "real time" information on the status of flights at the smaller airports it serves.
During winter months KPQ radio (AM 560) provides regular updates on the status of Horizon Airlines arrivals and departures during its morning newscasts.
The airport office in the terminal can answer most questions or direct you to another source. The office is staffed from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on weekdays.
